We have received
several calls regarding the article on the front page of May’s
publication of the Spectrum.The Lake
Forest Yacht Club is owned by the Lake Forest property owners, "you",
each and every one of you. You can go to the Yacht Club at any time free
of charge. The only expense to you would be if you ordered food and
beverage. We encourage you to do so.
Lake Forest Yacht Club, Inc. is a separate,
private organization that for a number of years has been allowed to use
our facilities. The $125 yearly dues mentioned in the May article is to
join their association and has nothing to do with LFPOA.
Member participation at the Yacht Club is
improving weekly. The sunset over Mobile Bay is really beautiful. Why
don’t you take the family down, have dinner and refreshments and watch
the sun go down.
Filippo Milone, ex Pillar’s Restaurant, is
having another fine dining experience June 14th at the Yacht Club. You
would have received by now notification of this event with your monthly
statement. I hope you can attend. We need the support.
On the 4th of July, there will be activities
for adults and children at the Yacht Club from 4 p.m. – 8p.m. The Yacht
Club hours will remain the same, 1 p.m. – 11 p.m.
