Board Minutes 4/27/03
Present: Bill & Dorothy Brown, Mitch & Anne Davis, Beverly Fox, Susan Green, Gene & Dolly Guy, Richard & Carol Hall, Karen Keenan, Al Peck,and Paul Wilson.
Absent: Michael Albrecht, Mary Brabner, and
Jack Carpenter
Election of new Officers
President - Bill Brown
Vice President - Richard Hall

Treasurer Report
April Social brought in $250.00 and $170.00 in
annual association dues.
After expenses current balance is $390.39
Board decided to pay Lake Forest $200.00
towards improvements.
Century Tournament
May 3, 2003 at 9:00 am
2 out of 3 sets NO ADD scoring with 12 pt. tie
breaker if needed
consolation round for first round losers
Bill Green will pick up lunch and balls
Mitch Davis to pick up drinks
Michael Albrecht to have staff call for
sign ups and set up draw and schedule.
Richard Hall to check on Plaques for
winners
Bill Brown to bring 5 Posters to Pro Shop
Michael Albrecht and Mitch Davis get extra
posters to Timber Creek, Rock Creek, Lakewood, and Point Clear.
Bill Brown to turn in
Club Championship
Michael Albrecht to schedule and conduct,
suggested sometime in June. Other conflicting events: USTA State
Championship the 2nd weekend in June. The 3rd weekend in June a Large
tournament in Orange Beach. Board suggest 1st weekend in June for Men's
and Women's doubles.
Board to help promote event. Suggest
perpetual plaque to be provided by Tennis Association for mounting in Pro
Shop.
