April 5, 2003
New members were elected to the LFTA Board of
Directors. The new board includes Gene and Dolly Guy, Susan Green,
Bill Brown, Jack Carpenter, Mitch Davis, Richard Hall, Al Peck, Beverly Fox
and Paul Wilson. Current board members Bill Green and Leigh Dunlavy
decided to step down from the board this year. Bill and Leigh have
done an outstanding job for tennis in Lake Forest and their contributions
are greatly appreciated. |
Members
of the Lake Forest Tennis Association had a terrific time today
at their annual
meeting, match and social. A lot of
tennis was played including doubles, mixed doubles and a mini-tournament of
One (1) Point matches. The Lake Forest Property Owner's Association
provided hamburger meat, hot dogs and buns and our friend Bill Green fired
up one of the grills at the facility and did just a wonderful job cooking.
