A board meeting was held Dec.
10. Present were Susan Green, Paul Wilson,
Mike Abelln, Bill Green, John Shanks, Marsha Stewart, and Richard
Hall.
Old Business

We still own John Shanks
$52.50 minus the few dollars
already received. Susan will try and get with Mitch about the bank
account. |
New Business

Battle of the Sexes Jan 14 10am. Bring a cover dish. Susan will
get balls and misc stuff. Richard will make signs. |

Susan met with Steve the General Manager. They covered cleaning
the gutters, clay on the courts, weeds moss, fans for the club house,
back boards for the hard courts, and a squeegee for the hard courts |

Marsha is trying to start a World Team Tennis team for Lake
Forest. She is trying to get interest from everyone.. |

|
Marsha also organized the Beta Mixed Doubles Winter league team
for Lake Forest. |

|
Roger also mentioned a Senior League organizing in Mobile. He will
try and find out some details.

|
Also mentioned was maybe trying to have Free Tennis lessons on
Saturday to help and grow membership.

|
|
The women's tennis coach has changed and we may be asked for the
women's team to play at Lake Forest once again. We agreed that since
this change, that request probably be considered. |
Susan Green also said she is resigning after
the Jan meeting and a replacement needs to be found.
