Lake Photo Journal

This cormorant caught a fish so big it had to climb onto my pier to eat it. Then it was so wet & heavy it couldn't take off in flight & fell back in the water. Fun to watch from my lazy boy.

Last night these birds were swarming all over the lake, creating hundreds of foot high splashes as they plucked minnows from the surface of the water. Looked like little firecrackers going off in the water.
