Mary Carelli, Food & Beverage Chairperson, reports a number of exciting things going on down at the Yacht Club.

Lake Forest has a terrific new person behind the grill. Her name is Debbie Waite. This lady is extremely well qualified with a background in catering and as a personal chef. She intends to "stick to the basics" with good old-fashioned cooking.

The association is doing a number of things to increase usage of the club. The Yacht Club has mixed drink specials on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights for $3.25.

* Thursday – Tootie Fruitie

* Friday – Margarita Madness

* Saturday – White Russian

Friday and Saturday there will be hors d’oeuvres leading up to the weekend entertainment. Stay and enjoy karaoke on Friday nights from 8 – 11 p.m. We are happy to present a band on Saturday nights for your enjoyment from 7 – 10 p.m. Bama Jam will play on March 15th and March 29th and Ron McConnell on March 22nd.

Don’t forget that parties and wedding receptions can be accommodated at the Yacht Club. Please check out the club and join the crowd.
