The Stiells have lived in Lake Forest for 13 months, moving from a home in downtown Mobile that they renovated. Tony and Shalounda work full time and have two children attending the University of Alabama. The couple share their gardening enthusiasm and work together to make it so inviting. Their extended large families also enjoy flowers and gardening, so our Yard of the Month award is a feather in the Stiell’s cap and perhaps the envy of their brothers and sisters. Congratulations again on the hard work you do making Lake Forest such a lovely place to live. The Stiells were given a Gift Certificate from Home Depot compliments of the Lake Forest Garden Club. |

Yard of the Month recognition goes to Anthony & Shalounda Stiell at 159 Lake
View Loop. This lovely home attracts you immediately with a row of white
caladiums and red, welcoming you to their inviting wrap around porch decked
with hanging ferns. The front yard is immaculately
attended to with two flower beds filled with impatiens, coleus, sago palms,
hydrangeas and azaleas.
