Yard of the Month
March, 2007
Craig and Mel Riber
101 Dewitt Circle.
Starting
with a renovated centipede lawn, the front area of their yard is
impressive with camellias in colors of deep red, yellow and white and
pink. These, along with several others located throughout the landscape
confirms that Mel's favorite is the magnificent camellia, also our
state's official flower. There is a cluster of mounding dwarf Yaupons
near the lamp post leading into their dwelling. Ivy, ferns and some
small azaleas line the walkway. Two iron trellises hold climbing
variegated Jasmine. Perfectly pruned Japanese yews, a Mahonia holly
surroundied by numerous azaleas line the narrow, yet well groomed
walkways.
This beautiful home and
garden that the Riber's enjoy immensely is certainly an asset to our
Lake Forest neighborhood.
