LAKE FOREST TENNIS ASSOCIATION BOARD MEETING MINUTES

FEBRUARY 15, 2004 

In attendance were Gene and Dolly Guy, Richard Hall, Karen Keenan, Mary Brabner, Mitch Davis, Susan Green, Mike Albrecht and Al Peck. 

TREASURY REPORT

Currently there is $94.42 in the Tennis Fund.
$1,100 was paid to LFPOA in the 2003.
The remaining balance is $900.00. 

FEBRUARY SOCIAL
 

The “Leap Year Social” will be held Saturday February 28^th, 2004.
The time frame will be 9:00 AM till Noon or so…
*Members fee will be $10.00 and Member Juniors will be $5.00.
*Posters will be made by Gene Guy, and will be distributed.
*Lunch will be provided for all participants.
*Food – Mitch Davis.
*Door Prizes – Mitch Davis.
*Tennis Balls – Karen Keenan will pick up tennis balls, sodas, plates and cups.
*Tournament Directors – Mike Albrecht, Richard Hall and Mary Brabner.

Mitch Davis will take digital photos and write an article for the Spectrum and the Baldwin Press to show the Tennis Clubs activities for the prospects of new member enrollment.
Door Prizes will be given away at the “Leap Year Social”.

FUTURE PLANNING

March 12^th - Friday Evening Tennis Social
April 24^th - Membership Appreciation Social with a meeting afterwards, Lake Forest Tennis Association.
May 8^th - Century Tournament
No Date Yet - Battle of the Sexes

Attention will be given to the Men’s and Ladies Nights for participation, more phone calls or emails.
A sign up sheet has been placed on the Bulletin Board at the Club house, please add your email address.

 The next board meeting will be scheduled for February 28, 2004 after the “Leap Year Social” at the Lake Forest Tennis Club house.
